Highlighted Events: New Ways Ministry is hosting three spiritual retreats in the coming months —
“Journey into Life: Learning to Live with HIV/AIDS” is a retreat facilitated by Fr. Dennis Rausch happening May 29, 2013 from 9am-4pm for those persons with HIV/AIDS in the Washington, DC-area. “A Christian Spirituality for Our Times“ is a retreat facilitated by Michael Morwood to provide a place of reflection for LGBT Catholics, their parents, pastoral ministers, and other interested person. It will be held September 20-22, 2013 at the Franciscan Spiritual Center in Aston, PA. For more information and to register, please click here.
“The Holy Land: Ancient & New” will be an LGBT-friendly pilgrimage led by Sr. Jeannine Gramick from February 14-23, 2013. This 10-day travel experience will visit cultural and religious sites in Palestine/Israel, while allowing for community building and spiritual reflection. 2) The Catholic Association for Lesbian and Gay Ministry hosts their 2013 National Conference under the theme, ‘Setting the Table for All Youth: Yours, Mine, Ours.’ The Conference will be held in New Orleans, LA from September 12-15, 2013 at the Hotel Monteleone. 3) Texas’ Fort Worth Diocesan Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics, Other Sexual Minorities and Their Families regularly meets the fourth Thursday of the month for prayer and conversation at the Catholic Renewal Center, 4503 Bridge St. in Fort Worth.
